When we moved from Florida to Wisconsin two years ago, we had to decide where we wanted to live. There were, of course, several options. One of the things that drew us to Menomonee Falls was all of the positives we heard about the Menomonee Falls school district. While we are happy we moved to Menomonee Falls, and love the community, it turns out that the academic successes we were hearing about in our schools were based more in the past than the present.
I have a vested interest in the future health of our school district for a long time to come. With one child in 2nd grade and one in kindergarten, we will be moving through elementary, middle and high school in Menomonee Falls. It is time someone comes in and tells the status quo that ok is not good enough. It is time to stop living in the past. It is time to get the parents involved. It is time for accountability.
My number one priority is getting the parents involved. We cannot return this district to the top of the county without your support.
